A mother of six from Chateauguay has recovered her health after a visit to the doctor. Putting training and healthy eating back into her busy family diary, she managed to lose 36 kg (80 pounds) in less than a year. Story of a motivated woman.
Melanie Pascone qualifies as someone who was active in the past. "I ran three times a week," she says. In 2015, she stopped the activity and started to eat more. "My brother died, I started to eat my emotions," she says.

From May 2017, the Châteauguoise enrolled at the Énergie Cardio training center in her municipality to participate in group classes. She trains there five days a week. "I swear to you that when I go there, I'm going to have fun. It's never a chore, "says Pascone. She loves to spend her energy with her "two motivators of love", the coaches Diane Bélanger Demers and Lyne Laguë.

The Chateauguoise's efforts of the past year have been rewarded as she was a finalist at the gala of the show Maigrir pour gagn de Canal vie in February. This show hosted by Chantal Lacroix is ​​a reality show in which 15 participants engage in a challenge of weight loss. In parallel to this program, a program to lose weight to win the rally organized with Énergie Cardio, allowed other participants to be supervised by professionals, train in groups and attend conferences. Ms. Pascone enrolled in this program with the Énergie Cardio Center in Châteauguay. Of the 500 participants in this program in the province, she was selected as one of four finalists for her great weight loss. She was able to attend the final gala of the show and was treated to a beauty metamorphosis. Now that the challenge is over, she does not intend to stop training. "I like that too much. I found my energy, "she says.
